MIM Fertility
MIM Fertility (www.mimfertility.ai), founded in 2019 by PhD Piotr Wygocki and Ula Sankowska, originated from the Faculty of MIM (Mathematics, Informatics and Mechanics) of the University of Warsaw. Over time the founders have assembled a sparkling array of experts interested in solving practical algorithmic problems efficiently.
MIM Fertility mission is to create AI-as-a-medical-device solutions that improve the standard of healthcare, specifically IVF treatment.
MIM Fertility focused on developing AI-powered software platform such as EMBRYOAID and FOLLISCAN.
EMBRYOAID: MIM Fertility has developed the Embryoaid application based on AI algorithms to assist embryo selection for IVF. EMBRYOAID automatically ranks and identifies the most promising embryos based on an extensive collection of time-lapse images. The algorithm has learned from films and images of embryos to recognize the process of their maturation and with perfect precision, to select which embryo has the best prognosis to develop into a pregnancy.
FOLLISCAN: MIM Fertility has developed AI software platform which analyze transvaginal ultrasound to identify and measure precisely follicles of all sizes. During the ultrasound examination, the sonographer must calculate and measure the follicles. It has been successfully instructed the system to accurately count and measure follicles, enabling it to predict the precise day when the patient should be scheduled for the egg retrieval procedure.
